日本分光公司JASCO成立于1958年初，由當(dāng)時(shí)任教于東京教育大學(xué)（即現(xiàn)在的筑波大學(xué)）的藤岡教授領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的光電研究小組所創(chuàng)立，創(chuàng)始成員包括世界著名的物理學(xué)家藤岡教授（Yoshio Fujioka）及諾貝爾獎(jiǎng)得主朝永振一郎（Shinhichiri Tomonaga）。
日本分光公司自1958年成立之初推出了日本第一臺(tái)紅外光譜儀以來(lái)，四十多年來(lái)一直秉持創(chuàng)立時(shí)所堅(jiān)持的“技術(shù)領(lǐng)先”理念，以專業(yè)化的光學(xué)分析儀器設(shè)計(jì)及制造能力，致力于研究開(kāi)發(fā)尖端品質(zhì)的光學(xué)分析儀器，進(jìn)而陸續(xù)推出園二色光譜儀（1961年）、激光拉曼光譜儀（1970年）、紫外分光光度計(jì)（1971年）、熒光光譜儀（1972年）、液相色譜儀（1975年）、傅立葉變換紅外光譜儀（1982年）、園二色檢測(cè)器（1998年）、近場(chǎng)紅外光譜儀（2001年）等一系列精密分析儀器。
日本分光公司的產(chǎn)品早于1994年通過(guò)國(guó)際品質(zhì)標(biāo)準(zhǔn) ISO-9001 認(rèn)證及歐洲的CE標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，現(xiàn)公司的產(chǎn)品不僅在品質(zhì)上追求精益求精，同時(shí)產(chǎn)品種類也不斷增加。日本分光公司四十多年來(lái)業(yè)務(wù)不斷擴(kuò)充，已分別在美國(guó)、英國(guó)、德國(guó)、法國(guó)、意大利、匈牙利、印度、韓國(guó)等十幾個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)設(shè)有分公司或辦事處，并于1995年特別在大連設(shè)立聯(lián)絡(luò)辦事處（華洋科儀公司），并根據(jù)市場(chǎng)需求的不斷發(fā)展先后在北京和上海成立了分公司，直接為中國(guó)地區(qū)眾多的客戶做好各項(xiàng)服務(wù)工作。

JASCO Corporation was founded in 1958 to provide the scientific community with optical spectroscopy products.
In the mid-1950's a group of researchers in the Institute of Optics of what is now Tsukuba University needed an Infrared Spectrophotometer for their research. Since a commercially available instrument was not yet available at the time, they undertook the challenge to develop their own. The result was quite a success - a reliable instrument with excellent optical performance.
As a second result, other research groups asked them to replicate the instrument for use within their laboratories. With the increased demand for more instruments JASCO Corporation was founded in 1958 in order to provide the scientific community with optical spectroscopy products. Founding members included World famous physicist Yoshio Fujioka and Nobel Prize winner Shinichiro Tomonaga.
Over the last 50 years JASCO Corporation has continued to attain the highest standards in terms of optical performance, ease of use, and reliability. JASCO has grown to become a strong global company with sales and support worldwide. JASCO Incorporated was founded in Maryland in 1972 to handle operations throughout the Western Hemisphere.
Over the years the JASCO product line has grown to cover instruments used, not only in research but also for routine analysis applications in areas such as quality control, environmental analysis, and process control.
