2001年，海爾血液保存箱在中國(guó)中西部血站建設(shè)國(guó)際招標(biāo)項(xiàng)目中獨(dú)家中標(biāo)，引起了醫(yī)療科研行業(yè)的廣泛關(guān)注。海爾緊緊抓住這一機(jī)遇，在青島經(jīng)濟(jì)開(kāi)發(fā)區(qū)海爾園內(nèi)建成醫(yī)療科研產(chǎn)品專用生產(chǎn)線，專門從事醫(yī)療科研產(chǎn)品的生產(chǎn)制造。
2004年，海爾冰襯冰箱在印度衛(wèi)生部世界銀行貸款項(xiàng)目中，打破歐洲品牌壟斷印度20多年的歷史，獨(dú)家中標(biāo)10000臺(tái)，同時(shí)海爾血液保存箱也相繼實(shí)現(xiàn)出口，標(biāo)志著海爾醫(yī)療產(chǎn)品大批量進(jìn)入國(guó)際市場(chǎng)。中國(guó)低溫冰箱走出了一條從完全依靠進(jìn)口，到自主研發(fā)，自行制造，再到以自主品牌出口的嶄新發(fā)展之路。
2006年，開(kāi)發(fā)投產(chǎn)具有自主知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)的全系列醫(yī)用清洗消毒機(jī)，標(biāo)志著公司產(chǎn)品門類由原有單一醫(yī)用低溫領(lǐng)域向醫(yī)療感染控制領(lǐng)域擴(kuò)展，并逐漸由“專業(yè)溫度服務(wù)商”向“醫(yī)療器械成套供應(yīng)商”擴(kuò)展。
2007年，我們開(kāi)發(fā)制造的低溫冰箱及感控系列產(chǎn)品已經(jīng)廣泛應(yīng)用于血液及藥品儲(chǔ)存、生物工程、醫(yī)學(xué)研究、醫(yī)療臨床、衛(wèi)生防疫、農(nóng)業(yè)、畜牧業(yè)等領(lǐng)域。包括國(guó)內(nèi)三大著名高校北大、清華、復(fù)旦在內(nèi)的百余家高等院校，以及中國(guó)人民解放軍總醫(yī)院301醫(yī)院、協(xié)和醫(yī)院、北京佑安醫(yī)院等500多家三甲醫(yī)院和北京紅十字血液中心在內(nèi)500多家血站，還包括中科院微生物所、遺傳發(fā)育所、植物基因國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室為代表的眾多科研機(jī)構(gòu)均在使用著海爾低溫冰箱所提供的服務(wù)。
同時(shí)，在國(guó)家重大項(xiàng)目招標(biāo)中，海爾業(yè)績(jī)卓著。-86℃超低溫冰箱在衛(wèi)生部人禽流感防控項(xiàng)目招標(biāo)中屢屢中標(biāo)，中標(biāo)率近80%；衛(wèi)生部援助印度洋海嘯項(xiàng)目,血液冰箱產(chǎn)品由海爾獨(dú)家提供；衛(wèi)生部公共衛(wèi)生專項(xiàng)資金艾滋病防治項(xiàng)目，海爾獨(dú)家中標(biāo)……。
一直以來(lái)，我們?cè)诳蒲虚_(kāi)發(fā)方面，組建了以低溫制冷專家、衛(wèi)生防疫專家、醫(yī)療專家為顧問(wèn)，以博士為牽頭人，擁有數(shù)十名在醫(yī)療低溫開(kāi)發(fā)方面具有豐厚經(jīng)驗(yàn)的高素質(zhì)專業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)人員的龐大開(kāi)發(fā)隊(duì)伍。其低溫、超低溫技術(shù)的研究和應(yīng)用在國(guó)內(nèi)外同類研究及技術(shù)中處于國(guó)際領(lǐng)先水平，并在低溫、超低溫冰箱系列產(chǎn)品的關(guān)鍵技術(shù)研究方面擁有多項(xiàng)專利，“單壓縮機(jī)復(fù)疊制冷技術(shù)在醫(yī)用低溫保存箱上的應(yīng)用”、“醫(yī)用低溫操作臺(tái)”、“密封與智能控制技術(shù)在-86℃超低溫保存箱中的應(yīng)用”、“雙溫控雙重保護(hù)技術(shù)在血液冷藏上的應(yīng)用”、“重力熱管技術(shù)在半導(dǎo)體冰箱上的應(yīng)用”、“短信控制技術(shù)在-86℃超低溫保存箱中的應(yīng)用”等多項(xiàng)技術(shù)通過(guò)專家科技成果鑒定，達(dá)到國(guó)際領(lǐng)先水平。2003年海爾“超低溫技術(shù)的研究及其在醫(yī)用、科研設(shè)備方面的應(yīng)用”獲得了山東省科技進(jìn)步三等獎(jiǎng)；2006年海爾集團(tuán)“超低溫制冷技術(shù)的研究與應(yīng)用”獲得山東省“泰山學(xué)者”崗位；2006年海爾“血站冷鏈設(shè)備系列化產(chǎn)品的研制”獲得青島市科學(xué)技術(shù)進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)；2006年海爾“熱管技術(shù)的研究及其在半導(dǎo)體冰箱上的應(yīng)用”獲得山東省科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)；2006年，國(guó)家發(fā)改委針對(duì)海爾取得的成績(jī)，投資專項(xiàng)資金1000萬(wàn)元支持海爾發(fā)展超低溫冰箱高新技術(shù)項(xiàng)目。海爾主持起草的中國(guó)第一個(gè)《低溫保存箱》國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)（GB/T20154-2006）于2006年11月1日由國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化管理委員會(huì)正式頒布實(shí)施，標(biāo)志著海爾生物醫(yī)療設(shè)備走出了一條由技術(shù)創(chuàng)新、產(chǎn)品創(chuàng)新到標(biāo)準(zhǔn)制定的創(chuàng)品牌發(fā)展之路。

Haier Medical and Laboratory Products Co., Ltd. is a member division of Haier Group. It specializes in design, manufacturing, and marketing of a wide range of scientific products such as low temperature freezers for scientific application. The company has built a complete infrastructure to support a full effort for product research and development to satisfy the needs of the marketplace. Production capability for scientific products sustains an annual quantity of 1,000,000 units of various models.
Haier Medical has been growing steadily since 1998 when the Haier -40 degree C freezers were developed. Today, they have become the workhorse units in many scientific fields such as medical institutions. In 2001, Haier Medical was awarded an international bid of blood bank refrigerators for western China. To further support the manufacturing of these blood banks and other medical products, Haier Medical invested a new dedicated production line in the Haier (Huangdao) complex. The progressive advancement of the business resulted in a growing interest by the Chinese medical research community for Haier Medical Company and its products. Meanwhile, the demand for low temperature storage brought together a team of scientists to develop a new line of cryogenic freezers. The team members included experts in cryogenics, hygiene, epidemic prevention, medicine and engineers. Their effort led to an impressive accomplishment of a complete line including the already established +4+/-1 degree C blood banks, ultra-low temperature freezers, and -156 degree C cryogenic freezers. In 2004, Haier won another major international bid of HSCC/PUR/IMMU-III/3/2002 to supply ice-lined refrigerators to India which signaled the beginning of the Haier medical products to share the global markets. As the company continued to amass these successes, Haier also simultaneously established design institutes and manufacturing plants in the United States and Korea. The expansions have enhanced the company抯 ability to compete in the world scientific market with products such as incubators, ovens, water baths, purifying work tables, bio-safety cabinets, axenic work room, and vaccine cold storage.

Haier places its focus on becoming a professional supplier of temperature products with continuous development of modern ergonomic designs, a reliable service support network, and an efficient global network of logistics. The initiatives generated further financial return as the World Health Organization (WHO) recognized Haier’s accomplishments by authorizing the manufacturing of freezers for the WHO-7 program. Today, Haier freezers are being widely used by about 500 Chinese blood banks and thousands of hospitals and medical research institutes. Applications of Haier units can be found in storage of blood products, pharmaceutical products, biological engineering, medical studies, clinic treatment, agriculture research, stockbreeding, hygiene, and epidemic prevention.
Along with product development, Haier Medical and Laboratory Products Co., Ltd. has been awarded technology patents. Special techniques in design and manufacturing have also been perfected. As the author for the Chinese ULT Freezer Standards effective November 2006, Haier has become a premier international supplier of frost-free +4 degree C blood banks and cascade technology for -60 degree C and -85 degree C blast-freezing units. All of these secure Haier’s position as a global leader of laboratory equipment.
