Ohmex Ltd is a manufacturer of miniature, low power, echo sounders and tide gauges for use in the inshore, shallow water hydrographic surveying market. Normally described as 'small' boat surveying this area is best described as where hydrography meets topography and includes river, reservoir, lake, and shoreline surveys. The systems are designed to provide the hardware and software required to completely integrate an echo sounder with a positioning system to the user's requirements.

Established in April 2000 Ohmex is primarily a manufacturer of equipment involved in Environmental Science applications such as Environmental Data collection, Land and Hydrographic surveying systems .
