 Lixi has provided real-time x-ray solutions to businesses and governments worldwide since 1978. By utilizing technology developed at NASA, Lixi delivered the first portable real-time x-ray imaging scope. From this simple beginning Lixi went on to develop x-ray products used in a wide variety of industries for many different applications.
Lixi's customers include Fortune 100 and multinational companies such as AT&T, General Electric, Motorola, Ford Motor Company, Exxon-Mobil and Proctor & Gamble. Additionally, governmental agencies worldwide depend upon Lixi's technology every day.

Applications of Lixi technology 
Forensics analysis and package inspection during the Tylenol product tampering of 1984. 
Profiling of the watermarks on U.S. Currency by the Department of Treasury during manufacture.
