LightForm was founded in 1996, by Jeremy Lerner, to develop and sell Hyperspectral Imaging instrumentation to primarily to life science researchers.
LightForm won three NIH, SBIR grants that resulted in the development of the PARISS® Analytical Hyperspectral Imaging system. PARISS was formally introduced to the market at the Pittsburgh Conference in 1998.

PARISS can now be found in routine use in bio-research, medical, physics, chemistry, and industrial laboratories throughout the world.
Uses include: Nanoparticle characterization (SPR and "scatter"), spectral histopathology, spectral fluorescence imaging, micro-source color measurement (individual "screen" pixels), and many industrial QC applications.
To get a flavor of Jeremy’s twenty-five year background in the successful development of commercial diffractive and spectroscopic instruments and devices, click the following link to perform a Google search. (This link should work; but if not, go to scholar.google.com and search on the name “Jeremy Lerner” (omit the quotes).)
All citations that include diffraction gratings, neural networks, holography, diffusers, bar code readers; and anything to do with spectroscopy are relevant. The few references with names other than “J.M. or Jeremy Lerner” are not.
PARISS users have presented many papers in the refereed journals, please contact LightForm for a list
Jeremy is on the Editorial board, and has been an Associate Editor, of the professional journal "Cytometry."
Jeremy has nine patents, chaired or co-chaired ten, international conferences, and has over 40 publications.
